Carpenter

LWC Building Construction is looking for a carpenter who will be responsible for the delivery of either residential or commercial carpentry services.

You will be based in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty.

This is a full-time permanent position. Wages are between $32-$35 per hour and you will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week.

To be considered for this role, you should have the following:

Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or similar experience associated with a trade or construction role:

·      Able to read and interpret plants

·      Can work unsupervised or part of a team

·      Can use a variety of hands tools and power tools

·      Willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening

·      With Site safe

·      Calm, professional temperament with the ability to cope in a pressured environment

General duties:

·      Read and interpret drawings

·      Perform all aspect of construction

·      Follow specific instructions from site management

·      Construct wall and roof framing, floor joist, foundations and bearers
