CNC Machine Operator

All Trades Contract Services are looking for skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team to work with  our client based in the Waikato

About the role:

• Starting wage of $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
• Permanent contract.
• Minimum guranteed 30 hours per week. 
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities: 

• Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Mills (Hyundai) to produce precision parts and turned components.

• Interpret technical drawings and CAD models producing CAM programmes.

• Load materials into machines and monitor machining processes.

• Adjust machine settings and tool offsets to ensure quality and efficiency.

• Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, & precision measuring tools.

• Maintain equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance.

• Maintain accurate production records and adhere to job order specifications.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Collaborate with engineers and quality control to ensure specifications are met.

• Assist in the development of new and existing manufacturing processes and procedures to optimise performance

• Train other personnel in the use of the machines and techniques.

• Daily completion of timesheets and work cards

• Carry out any other duties within the capability of the job holder.
