About Us
Myradhe Limited operates a busy grocery, convenience and retail store serving the Paparoa community and surrounding areas. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to assist with the overall management and performance of the store while supporting the Store Manager in achieving operational, financial and customer service objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in planning, organising and controlling daily store operations.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales, profitability and operational targets.
• Monitor store performance and prepare operational reports.
• Supervise and coordinate staff during trading hours.
• Assist with recruitment, induction and training of staff.
• Prepare staff rosters and workforce schedules.
• Monitor stock levels, inventory movements and stock ordering.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries and product availability.
• Conduct stocktakes and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with cash management, banking and reconciliation procedures.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Implement merchandising plans and promotional activities.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety and retail regulations.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Act as Store Manager during periods of leave or absence.
• Support management in achieving strategic and operational goals.
Qualifications and Experience
• Relevant Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Retail Management or related field; OR
• At least 3 years relevant retail supervisory or management experience.
• Grocery, supermarket, convenience store or retail management experience preferred.
• Staff supervision and roster management experience.
• Inventory control and supplier management experience.
