JNA Enterprises Limited, a professional courier services provider, is seeking a Manager to join its team in the Wellington region. The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, and committed to supporting sustainable business growth through efficient operations and high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily courier operations to ensure deliveries are completed accurately, efficiently, and within required timeframes.
- Plan and optimise delivery schedules and route allocations to improve operational efficiency and meet service standards.
- Recruit, train, and supervise drivers and support staff, fostering a productive and high-performing work environment.
- Monitor fleet servicing and maintenance to ensure all vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant with transport and safety regulations.
- Manage operational budgets, track fuel usage, and control costs to support overall business profitability.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements and relevant courier industry regulations.
- Respond promptly to delivery disruptions, customer concerns, and operational issues in a professional manner.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess delivery performance, service quality, and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Utilise courier and logistics systems for route planning, real-time tracking, and operational reporting.
- Prepare operational and financial reports for the Director to support business planning and decision-making.

You will be required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $30 to $40 per hour, subject to skills and requirements.
Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience
- Availability to work weekends if required.
