Besix Architectural Design Limited is seeking an Architectural Design Assistant to support our design team with concept development, model making, artistic detailing, and architectural visualization.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Design, Sculpture, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.

  • Strong artistic and spatial design skills.

  • Ability to contribute to architectural concepts, three-dimensional modelling, and aesthetic design elements.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Hourly rate: $25-$29

Full time permanent 

Location : 3 Piermark Dr, Rosedale, Auckland 0632 

Job duties: 

  • Assist architects and designers in developing architectural concepts, design proposals, and presentation materials.
  • Prepare and revise architectural drawings, plans, sketches, renderings, and other design documentation.
  • Produce three-dimensional models, visualisations, and artistic representations of architectural projects.
  • Assist with the design and detailing of architectural features, façades, public art elements, sculptures, and other aesthetic components of projects.
  • Conduct research on design trends, materials, construction methods, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare project documentation and maintain design records and drawing files.
  • Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients regarding design requirements and project progress.
  • Assist in site visits, measurements, and inspections to support project planning and design development.
  • Support the preparation of planning, consent, and construction documentation.
  • Perform other design-related duties as required to support the architectural design team.
