About the Us:
Longland Project Limited is a busy construction company in Auckland specialising in residential building and house construction. We are seeking two full-time Carpenters to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of carpentry tasks in line with construction drawings and specifications. You will play a key role in building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. 


Key Responsibilities:
•    Interpret and follow construction drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
•    Identify and source appropriate materials, including timber and hardware.
•    Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
•    Construct and install framework, roof trusses, sub-floors, and floorboards.
•    Ensure all structures are level, aligned, and properly secured.
•    Install roof sheathing, fascia boards, external cladding, and window and door frames.
•    Build and install wooden fixtures such as walls, partitions, and staircases.
•    Create strong and accurate wood joints for assembling various structures.
•    Maintaining a clean and safe worksite.
•    Performing other carpentry-related duties as required by the Employer.


Skills and Qualifications:
•    2+ years of relevant experience or a relevant level 4 qualification.
•    Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
•    Excellent physical condition and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
•    Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.


The employees will work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and must be available to work on weekends. The hourly rate ranges from $28 to $35. Candidates must be New Zealand citizens or New Zealand resident visa holders. Only successful candidates will be contacted.
