Support clinicians, operational leaders, and funders to understand population health trends, across the full data lifecycle
We’re looking for a Data Analyst / Business Analyst to help turn complex health data into clear, actionable insights that support better care for patients and communities.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on role at the intersection of data, systems, and decision-making, combining technical delivery with strong analytical thinking.

A key focus of the role is working with health data and systems, translating complex clinical and operational information into meaningful insights that can drive real-world improvements.

We offer a remote-first, flexible working environment, focused on impact and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: You’ll work across the full data lifecycle, from raw data through to insight:
  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines integrating data from clinical systems and national collections
  • Use Python and SQL to clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis
  • Manage and optimise a PostgreSQL-based data environment and underlying data structures
  • Develop dashboards and reporting that support clinical decision-making and operational performance
  • Deliver regular reporting to internal stakeholders and health sector partners
  • Monitor and improve data quality, identifying issues and working collaboratively to resolve them
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
  • Support population health and equity analysis, identifying trends and opportunities to improve outcomes
  • Work with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure data solutions meet real-world needs
This is a role where you’ll see a direct connection between your work and improvements in healthcare delivery.

About You: You’re curious, practical, and comfortable working with both data and people. You enjoy solving problems, simplifying complexity, and delivering insights that make a difference.
You’ll likely bring:
  • 2–3+ years’ experience in a data analyst, analytics engineering, or similar healthcare environment
  • Strong Python and SQL skills for data analysis and transformation
  • Experience building or maintaining data pipelines and structured datasets
  • Experience with dashboards or BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Superset, or similar)
  • Confidence communicating insights clearly to non-technical audiences
  • A strong focus on data quality, governance, and privacy
Most importantly, you care about using data responsibly and using it to create meaningful impact.
