We require Scaffolders to join the team.

  • This is a permanent role
  • Full time, with minimum guaranteed 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday with weekend jobs available
  • Competitive remuneration $31.00 - $36.00 per hour depending on experience

About the Role

You will be based in the Auckland Region, and may also be required to work in other regions from time to time. This may require the need to travel away from home.

What you will do

The role involves work on residential, commercial, and industrial sites and includes (but is not limited to):

  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding as instructed
  • Stack excess materials for pick up after erecting and/or dismantling a job
  • Maintain product knowledge appropriate to the job 
  • Ensure ground is stable for scaffold 
  • Attend internal and/or external training sessions when arranged by the company
  • Complete any duties as instructed by the Supervisor as and when required
  • Act at all times in a safe manner and comply with all safety regulations
  • Any other tasks as and when required

About you

  • Minimum 3 Years of relevant and verifiable experience as a Scaffolder 
  • Proactively contributes to an effective team 
  • Agile and physically strong (able to lift 20+kgs)
  • Comfortable working at heights 
  • Strong customer service focus 
  • Ability to read site drawings and calculate equipment numbers accurately 
  • Ability to plan to achieve required work in a safe and efficient manner 
  • Commitment to own and others safety 
  • Able to communicate with colleagues and customers as required 
  • Honest, reliable, team player wiht effective time management 
  • Ability to travel nationally as required to meet business commitments 
  • Ability to pass a workplace medical exam including drug and alcohol testing
  • You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
