The Bennett Family Trust requires a Fruit Production Supervisor to manage daily orchard activities, supervise workers, and ensure high‑quality fruit production. This role is essential to maintain vine health, deliver seasonal programmes, and support efficient horticulture operations.
Position Title: Fruit Production Supervisor
Number of Positions: 1
Location: Te Puke, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand
Pay Rate: $28 – $35 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience or Level 4 Qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day‑to‑day orchard and fruit production activities.
- Monitor vine health, irrigation, and pest/disease conditions.
- Allocate tasks and supervise workers and seasonal staff.
- Lead seasonal programmes for fruit production activities.
- Train staff in horticultural techniques and safe practices.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements.
- Maintain production records and activity logs.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure fruit meets standards.
- Oversee safe use of tools and equipment.
- Report progress and operational issues to management.
