Alam & Muskaan Limited is looking for a Contract Manager for their busy company. This is a full-time permanent position and will consist of handling the full office operations of our company. Currently owns/manages over 100ha of kiwifruit, with further expansion planned.
To be considered for this position, you’ll have at least a qualification in relevant studies at Diploma level or higher, or sufficient experience to complete the tasks in this position (at least 3 years).
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
· Handling all communication with current contractors/employees to be able to achieve the work requirements as specified/required for each site.
· Obtaining /vetting new contractors to be able to work on company sites to complete all tasks required.
o Negotiating new contract deals, including associated scope of work, budgets, financing, staffing levels, and supplies required.
o Collaborating with other managers/directors to ensure the requirements are fulfilled.
· Developing & reviewing policies and procedures concerning client relationships, management of product, ensuring initial and ongoing compliance with policy and guidelines such as Zespri GAP & GRASP, packhouse policies, etc.
· Communication/discussions/relationships with packhouses to negotiate provision of fruit/product through their sites, including decisions about split of product between providers (if required), which sites go where, and the details of the contract. This will be reported to the Director for final approval.
· Problem-solving any issues with other team members/manager/providers as they arise to ensure all parties are satisfied, working together for the best outcomes.
· Completing follow-up feedback from providers as to their satisfaction with performance, budget, and making any modifications to continued working relationships. Managing any variances within the season as required.

We are looking at a minimum of 40 hours per week for this role.
Pay Rate: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 6.00pm (flexible within these core hours)
