Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our client growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and components across residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical wiring systems, fixtures, equipment, and appliances.
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
• Perform electrical installations, upgrades, and maintenance work in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Test electrical systems and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Install switchboards, lighting systems, power outlets, and electrical equipment.
• Complete electrical inspections, fault finding, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience OR level 4 qualification.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety regulations.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Current electrical licence/registration may be required.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical installations.
• Knowledge of electrical standards and compliance requirements.
• Experience using electrical testing equipment and tools.

What We Offer:

• $30 - $35 an hour depending on experience.
• Monday to Friday, minimum 30 hours per week.
• May be occasional weekend work.
