We' have an opportunity available for an experienced Structural Steel Erector to join a growing team delivering a range of commercial and industrial construction projects across Canterbury.
 
What you'll be doing:
  • Erecting structural steel frames, columns, beams and portals
  • Reading and interpreting construction drawings
  • Installing steelwork safely and accurately
  • Working alongside crane operators and rigging crews
  • Using EWPs and working at heights
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
 
What we're looking for:
  • Previous experience in structural steel erection
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
  • Working at Heights ticket (preferred)
  • EWP ticket (preferred)
  • Rigging or Dogman experience advantageous
  • Strong commitment to health and safety
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team
