JOB DESCRIPTION

We are located in the heart of Auckland and is seeking an experienced full time beauty therapist to join our team. The role involves helping clients improve their appearance and wellbeing by providing professional beauty treatments and advice.

Tasks include but are not limited to: -

• Welcome clients and discuss their beauty and skincare needs.

• Examine client skin and recommend suitable treatments and products.

• Perform facial treatments, including cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturising.

• Provide hair removal services such as waxing and threading.

• Shape and tint eyebrows and eyelashes.

• Perform manicures, pedicures, and basic nail care treatments.

• Apply makeup for special occasions and events.

• Advise clients on skincare routines and beauty products.

• Recommend and sell beauty and skincare products.

• Maintain client treatment records and appointment details.

• Keep treatment rooms, tools, and equipment clean and hygienic.

• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

• Answer customer enquiries and assist with booking appointments.

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients.

Person specifications: - 

• Must have eighter Level 4 qualification or two years of relevant work experience 

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Knowledge of beauty treatments, skincare products, and hygiene practices.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Able to work late evening  

• Able to work during weekend and public holiday

Minimum hours of work: 32 per week
