GURSIFT INVESTMENTS LTD  Trading AS GK LOGISTICS needs 5 class 5 Truck drivers & swing lift operators on the night shift full time Monday to Saturday.  We would like to hear from you if you have the following skills & experience.

Full Class 5 Driver License or equivalent overseas driving licence. 

D endorsement.

Non Smoker

Atleast overseas full Heavy motor Licence required which needs to be equivalent to class 5 full new zealand driver licence.

Able to pass a pre employment drug test and non smoker because of DANGEROUS GOODS LOADS. 

Must have 24 month or less relevant experience in New Zealand or overseas. 

No specific qualification required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive a truck and trailer or any combination unit under class 5 driving license.
  • Driving Truck for night shift and maintain Logbook as per NZTA requirements
  • Loading and unloading of Freight and shipping containers
  • Operate Truck in a safe manner under legal weight limits. 
  • Comply with health and safety act 2015.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE gears during operations.
  • Always communicate with the dispatcher for every consignment.
  • Must report an incident (could be accident or near miss)
  • Must clean the cab from inside before handing over the truck to the next shift driver.
  • No smoking allowed in trucks.
  • Customer service
  • Maintain paperwork as per instructions.
  • Must keep truck clean inside and wash outside. 
  • Must do pre pre-start check on the truck and trailer before use.
  • Report any breakdowns immediately

 

Minimum hourly rate: $25.50 per hour

Maximum Hourly rate : $29 per hour

Minimum hours: 30 hours per week

Maximum hours: 60 hours per week

 

Estimate start 6 pm to 6 am finish but may change as per roaster.

 

 Available to start immediately

 

Location : Auckland
