RCK is looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our growing asphalt team.
If you have experience operating an asphalt paver, roller, or milling machine, we want to hear from you. While experience operating all three machines would be an advantage, we're equally interested in candidates who can confidently operate at least one and are eager to continue developing their skills.
Ideally, you'll have 2+ years' experience operating heavy machinery within the asphalt industry. You'll be safety-conscious, reliable, and take pride in producing quality work while working as part of a hardworking team.
In this role you will:
- Operate asphalt pavers, rollers, or milling machines safely and efficiently.
- Carry out daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on your machine.
- Work closely with supervisors and crew members to deliver quality asphalt projects.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company standards.
- Be willing to work days, nights, and weekends as project requirements change.
This is a permanent full-time position based from our Whenuapai yard. Our work is varied, and you'll need to be flexible, as shifts may include days, nights, and weekends depending on project requirements. Having your own reliable vehicle is essential to get to and from work.
