Anand Civil NZ Limited seeks a Road Transport Manager to manage transport operations, supervise drivers, and oversee fleet performance for construction projects. Also seeks a Diesel Mechanic to service and repair trucks and diggers to ensure safe and efficient construction operations.
Position Title: Road Transport Manager
Number of Positions: 1
Location: Waikato, New Zealand
Pay Rate: $32 – $40 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week
Key Requirements
- At least 2 Year's of Experience OR Level 4 Qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and manage transport operations for trucks and construction equipment.
- Plan transport schedules, deliveries, and site movements.
- Monitor and coordinate use of 4 trucks and 2 diggers.
- Arrange vehicle servicing, maintenance, and fuel management.
- Ensure vehicles are operated and maintained in safe working condition.
- Liaise with clients and site teams regarding transport requirements.
- Maintain transport records, reports, and operational documentation.
- Supervise drivers and monitor their performance and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and health & safety laws.
- Resolve transport issues, delays, and operational challenges.

Key Requirements

Key Responsibilities
- Detect and diagnose faults in diesel engines and mechanical components.
- Repair and replace defective parts in trucks and construction machinery.
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections.
- Dismantle and reassemble engines and mechanical components.
- Maintain and service 4 trucks and 2 diggers.
- Test and adjust mechanical systems to ensure proper performance.
- Use tools and diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
- Maintain service records and job documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with safety and operational standards.
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs when required.
