Manager & Beauty Therapist

SHRIHAN LIMITED T/A Roshani's Beauty Room is looking for a Manager & a Beauty Therapist to join the busy team in Kerikeri. 

For the Manager role, some of the daily tasks would be:

• Handle and manage the daily operations of the business
• Plan, manage, and review customer service and after-sales support to maintain good customer relationships
• Develop and update policies, programs, and procedures for customer service and the products or services provided
• Guide team members, give feedback, and help with hiring new staff
• Manage, motivate, and train customer service staff
• Organise and deliver after-sales services to check customer satisfaction, ensure products perform as expected, and improve services
• Work with other departments, service partners, and customers to understand and meet customer needs
• Oversee key business areas such as accounting, sales, marketing, and human resources
• Make sure the business runs smoothly by meeting monthly targets and KPIs
• Manage invoices and financial transactions
• Schedule bookings and roster staff for the shift
• Provide quotations and negotiate on the service packages

Working on weekends and being available on calls are required for this position.

Offered Wage: $32 - $36 per hour (based on experience & skills)
Employment is full-time with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

This is a managerial role where you'll be handling the sole charge of the business.

You should have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience or a relevant qualification (Business/Management/Commerce/Accounting or any relevant area). 

All suitable candidates should be able to pass a drug test and a Ministry of Justice check when required.

For the Beauty Therapist role, some of the daily tasks would be:

• Discuss with clients to understand their needs, check their skin, and recommend suitable skincare, treatments, and makeup
• Apply every day and corrective makeup
• Provides skin analyses, facial therapies, and skin-care treatments
• Perform facial and body treatments, such as massages
• Perform eyebrow threading and waxing
• Remove unwanted hair using waxing, bleaching, tinting, depilation, and electrolysis
• Review and use beauty products and treatments safely and effectively
• Take bookings, schedule appointments, and keep client records up to date
• Advise clients and sell beauty and cosmetic products

Working on weekends and being available on calls are required for this position.
