Support the HR Manager, handle employee relations, ensures compliance, drive recruitment, policy guidance and more!
We have a couple of HR Advisor roles in the pipeline to be based in Dunedin as our clients P&C teams continue to grow. Both roles are a great opportunity for HR Professionals with prior advisory experience to take their capabilities to the next level in fast moving environments.

These are on-site based roles in Dunedin.


THE ROLE:

Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing generalist HR Advisory level support to your manager across the full employee lifecycle. You'll manage recruitment processes end-to-end from sitting down with managers to craft JDs to completing reference and background checks and onboarding processes. It's expected you'll have prior experience in ER and can provide guidance and support to Junior HR staff. Other responsibilities will vary from the development and implementation of HR policies to various project based assignments. 


KEY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and minimum 5 years of HR experience with prior employment at an advisory level.
  • Sound understanding of NZ employment legislation and HR practice.
  • Proven experience in leading end-to-end recruitment process (writing ads from scratch to on-boarding).
  • Previously supporting HR Managers through disciplinary processes.
  • High-level communicator (verbal and written) with a dedication to relationship building.
