Painter

We are looking for 2 painters to join our friendly team, in a well established business located in Glenfield, Auckland.

You will be expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday as normal hours of work, and you may also be required to perform on Saturday as well. Please note this is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate would be $28-$30 based on experience and ability, as well as addition qualifications, and candidates' skills.

The job will require the candidate to repair imperfection parts, and prepare and paint to a high standard.

·   Removing, replacing and repairing damaged boards and parts

·   Grinding, sanding and cleaning surfaces of items to be painted;

·   Loading paint, oil, lacquer, varnish and rustproofing agents into spray equipment;

·   Securing items to be sprayed within spray booths or placing them onto conveyors;

·   Colour matching and mixing paints to match paint shades

·   Applying primer applying primer and finishing coats using spray-guns  

·   Sanding surfaces between coats

The right candidates must have

·   At least 2 years relevant working experience   

·   Colour matching. blending operation of equipment competent

·   High levels of attention to detail 

·   Reliability and punctuality
