The role is a permanent, full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week guaranteed.

The successful candidate should have experience in plastering, surface finishing, construction, or a related trade. The role may require travel outside Auckland from time to time; the employer will cover the travel costs.

Applicants must have at least 2 contactable references, a clean criminal record, and preferably hold a driver's licence.

Job Description Summary:

  • Assist with the preparation and protection of work areas and surfaces.
  • Clean and prepare walls and ceilings for plastering and finishing.
  • Mix plaster compounds and finishing materials to specification.
  • Apply interior plaster, decorative coatings, and textured finishes.
  • Assemble and dismantle temporary access equipment as required.
  • Organise, handle, and maintain materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Work alongside experienced applicators to deliver high-quality finishes.

Other applicator and plaster finishing duties will be discussed with the successful candidate.
