The role is a permanent, full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week guaranteed.
The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant plastering, interior finishing, or construction experience. The role may require travel outside Auckland from time to time; the employer will cover the travel costs.
Applicants must have at least 2 contactable references, a clean criminal record, and preferably hold a driver's licence.
Job Description Summary:
- Apply high-quality interior plaster finishes to residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare, repair, and finish walls and ceilings to a premium standard.
- Mix and apply plaster compounds, coatings, and textured finishes.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Measure work areas and estimate materials required for projects.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and efficient condition.
- Identify and resolve finishing issues to achieve quality outcomes.
- Work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
Other plastering and finishing duties will be discussed with the successful candidate.
