We are looking for experienced full-time seasonal meat processing workers to join us around October in Te Kuiti.

Working week will consist of a 4 day on/2 day off rotating shift over 7 days, but for certain periods of the year will move to a 5 day on/2 day off shift.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Training rate and non-production rates of $23.95 per hour.

Production rates vary from $28.41 to $30.47 + per hour, depending on the role performed and the number of animals processed.

Overtime rates apply.

Guaranteed minimum 30 hours a week.

You must be able to:

  • do physical work
  • stand for long periods of time
  • pass a drug test

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Butchering of primal cuts
  • Operating of bandsaws
  • Trimming
  • Labelling and packing
  • Maintaining knives/tools, including keeping knives clean
  • Use safe working methods
