They are seeking to hire a Trainee Service Technician, who is looking for a ‘foot in the door’ opportunity to learn on the job and get a qualification under their belt.

 

The Role:

  • Receive comprehensive on-the-job training from experienced Engineers.

  • Assist with the installation, servicing and repair of dental and medical equipment.

  • Carry out repair work both onsite at customer premises and within the workshop.

  • Perform diagnostic and fault-finding activities, both over the phone and on-site.

  • Configure, maintain and troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment and associated systems.

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong client relationships.

  • Continually develop your technical knowledge across the company's product range.


The successful candidate will:

  • Ideally has a couple of years’ work experience or have completed tertiary studies in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Be keen to develop their career as a skilled tradesperson performing electro-mechanical work.

  • Possibly have around a year of experience as a technician and be looking to change industries and further develop skills.

  • Has a positive, can-do attitude and be willing to get stuck into a variety of tasks.

  • Holds a clean, full driver’s license (or be able to obtain their full license within the next few months).

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.

  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

  • Keen on working towards an EST qualifications.
