We, an Auckland based company is seeking a motivated and reliable ICT Support Technicians (2 Positions) to join our growing team in Auckland. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, provide technical assistance to staff and clients, and will design and maintain our company’s website.
The tasks and duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues
for clients.
Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries and service requests.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers based on operational needs.
Maintain accurate and detailed support documentation, including logging system faults
and user requests in the service management system.
Configure, deploy, install, and maintain IT equipment including PCs, laptops, tablets,
mobile devices, and networking hardware.
Perform hardware upgrades, repairs, and installations, including RAM upgrades, storage
upgrades, and device disassembly for maintenance and data recovery.
Install, uninstall, and troubleshoot a wide range of software applications, including
downloading and configuring appropriate software solutions.
Determine software and hardware requirements and implement appropriate technical
solutions to resolve user issues.
Respond to inquiries relating to software and hardware problems and provide effective
technical advice and support.
Adapt existing programs and systems to meet user requirements where required.
Ensure efficient use of computer systems, applications, and IT equipment across client
environments.
Implement, configure, and maintain wired and wireless computer networks for business
and home users.
Design, develop, and maintain websites as required to support client or business needs.
Repair and replace peripheral equipment such as printers, terminals, and modems.
Diagnose hardware and software faults and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely
repair and replacement of faulty equipment.
Repair mobile devices including LCD replacements and related component-
level troubleshooting.
Deliver high quality customer service and build strong ongoing relationships with clients.
Skills and Attributes we require:
1) You must have either a minimum of level 5 diploma/degree or higher-level qualification
in IT technical support/or any other related computing field. However, 3 years of
relevant experience can substitute the qualification requirements.
2) Solid knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.
3) Experience with website design and maintenance will be beneficial.
4) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
5) Excellent communication skills
This is a full-time permanent role with a minimum of 30 hours per week and the pay rate for
this position will be 32.00 NZD per hour.
