BestCoder is an international education institution specializing in programming and robotics for young learners. With campuses in North Shore, East Auckland, and Central Auckland, we provide programs for students aged 6–18, covering Scratch, Roblox, Python, C++, robotics engineering, artificial intelligence, and international competitions. 

As we continue to expand our digital capabilities, we are seeking an ICT Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and delivery of ICT systems and technology projects across the organisation.

Main duties of this role:

  • Lead ICT initiatives supporting the development and enhancement of the company's digital learning platforms, enterprise systems, multi-campus technology infrastructure and classroom computing environments used for programming and robotics education.
  • Coordinate internal teams, software developers and external technology vendors to ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Oversee the implementation, integration and deployment of ICT systems, including learning management platforms, user management systems, customer relationship management tools, payment solutions and other business applications.
  • Track project performance, address implementation challenges and facilitate timely resolution of issues affecting delivery outcomes.
  • Oversee workload planning and resource allocation across multiple projects to support effective delivery and operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with management and teaching teams to ensure ICT solutions align with organisational objectives and support business growth.
  • Lead system upgrades, digital transformation initiatives and the adoption of new technologies to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, implementation planning, system rollout activities and post-implementation reviews.
  • Maintain project records, implementation documentation and status reporting, ensuring compliance with organisational standards and best practices.
  • Support the implementation of ICT security, data protection and business continuity measures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend scalable ICT solutions to support the organisation's continued expansion and long-term technology strategy.

Pay rate: Minimum $70.00 / hour - Maximum $75.00 / hour

Guaranteed hours of work per week: Minimum 30 hours

 

Requirements for the job:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related fields; or at least four years of relevant work experience.
  • Be available for full-time employment.
  • Proven experience in ICT project management, system implementation, or technology delivery environments.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, workload planning, and resource allocation skills within multi-project.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Have no criminal record.
