Minimum hourly rate (low salary range): $29
Maximum hourly rate (high salary range): $36
Pay frequent: Weekly

Job Description: Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established South Island
based vineyard operation and management company.

This job is required to perform: (specific duty tasks)

• Supervise, coordinate and allocate daily work to vineyard employees and
contractors.
• Plan vineyard operations and ensure work programmes are completed according to
production schedules.
• Monitor vineyard operations to ensure work is completed efficiently and meets
company quality standards.
• Supervise staff undertaking pruning, spraying, canopy management, irrigation and
harvesting activities.
• Coordinate agrichemical programmes and ensure all applications are carried out
safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure vineyard machinery and equipment are available, serviced and operated
safely by authorised staff.
• Monitor staff performance and provide training, coaching and guidance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, GROWSAFE requirements, health and
safety legislation, and environmental standards.
• Liaise with the Vineyard Manager regarding staffing, production targets, crop quality
and operational planning.

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

• At least 2 years of relevant experience working; OR

• Certificate Level 5 in any major

• AND Be Physically Fit
