Job Description: Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established South Islandbased vineyard operation and management company.

This job is required to perform: (specific duty tasks)

• Prepare and mix agrichemicals in accordance with manufacturer instructions, vineyard management requirements, and health and safety regulations.
• Apply fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, and fertilisers to grapevines using appropriate spraying equipment.
• Ensure accurate chemical dosage, application timing, and spraying techniques to maximise vine health, disease control, and grape quality.
• Inspect vineyards to identify pests, diseases, weeds, and nutrient deficiencies, and report any issues requiring treatment.
• Maintain accurate records of agrichemical usage, spray diaries, and  treatment schedules in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Operate tractors, sprayers, and other vineyard machinery safely and efficiently.
• Clean and calibrate spraying equipment and tools after use to prevent contamination and ensure optimal performance.
• Carry out routine maintenance of spraying equipment and report any mechanical faults or repair requirements.
• Comply with all health and safety procedures, including the correct handling, storage, and disposal of agrichemicals and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Provide guidance and support to vineyard staff on safe spraying practices, agrichemical handling, and vineyard operational procedures where required.

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

• At least 2 years of relevant experience working; OR
• Certificate Level 5 in any major
• AND Be Physically Fit
