Job Description: 

Due to the continued growth of our business and increasing customer demand, we are seeking an experienced and reliable Full-time Baker to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in producing high-quality baked goods and enjoys working in a fast-paced bakery environment.

The role will include, but not limited to:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of bread, buns, pastries, cakes and other bakery products.

  • Measure, mix, knead, proof and shape dough according to recipes and production schedules.

  • Operate and monitor baking equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Decorate and finish bakery products where required.

  • Monitor product quality and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.

  • Ensure all food preparation complies with food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the bakery, equipment and work areas.

  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies.

  • Minimize food waste and contribute to efficient production planning.

  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production requirements.

Job pre-requisites: 

  • NZQF level 4 qualification or above in relevant field, and 

  • At least two years of relevant full-time work experience as a Baker or similar role gained after formal studies.
