Job Description:
Due to the continued growth of our business and increasing customer demand, we are seeking an experienced and reliable Full-time Baker to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in producing high-quality baked goods and enjoys working in a fast-paced bakery environment.
The role will include, but not limited to:

Prepare and bake a variety of bread, buns, pastries, cakes and other bakery products.

Measure, mix, knead, proof and shape dough according to recipes and production schedules.

Operate and monitor baking equipment safely and efficiently.

Decorate and finish bakery products where required.

Monitor product quality and ensure consistency in taste and presentation.

Ensure all food preparation complies with food safety and hygiene standards.

Maintain cleanliness of the bakery, equipment and work areas.

Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies.

Minimize food waste and contribute to efficient production planning.

Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production requirements.
Job pre-requisites:

NZQF level 4 qualification or above in relevant field, and
-
At least two years of relevant full-time work experience as a Baker or similar role gained after formal studies.
