Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Safely operate trucks and heavy vehicles to transport construction materials,machinery, and equipment to project sites.
  • Deliver and collect materials between suppliers, depots, and construction sites
    according to daily schedules.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload materials using appropriate load restraint methods.
  • Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and report any faults or maintenance
    requirements.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with road
    transport regulations.
  • Assist site teams with loading, unloading, and positioning materials and equipment
    where required.
  • Maintain delivery records, vehicle logbooks, and other transport documentation.
  • Follow company Health and Safety policies and comply with all site safety requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors, suppliers, and clients regarding delivery
    schedules.
  • Keep vehicles clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • Valid NZ Driver license in 4 class
  • At least one years of working experience in relevant industry
  • Work may involve early mornings, nights, and weekends
  • Must be physically fit to handle loading, unloading, and long driving hours.
  • Physical fitness and manual dexterity.
