C.M. & N.C. Patel Limited seeks a Store Manager to independently manage the Waihi retail store, supervise 4 staff, and oversee all operational, financial, and customer service functions. The role is essential as the Director manages another business in Auckland and is not involved in the store's daily operations.

Position Title: Store Manager
Number of Positions: 1
Location: Waihi, Hauraki, Waikato
Pay Rate: $30 – $36 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

 

Key Requirements

  • At least 2 Year's of Experience OR Level 4 Qualification.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine product mix, stock levels, and service standards.
  • Formulate and implement purchasing and marketing policies and assist with pricing decisions.
  • Promote and advertise the store's goods and services.
  • Sell goods and services to customers and provide product information when required.
  • Maintain records of stock levels, purchases, and financial transactions.
  • Undertake budgeting and monitor store performance and profitability.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and manage a team of 4 staff.
  • Prepare staff rosters and allocate daily duties.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety regulations.
  • Independently manage all day‑to‑day store operations and report business performance to the Director.
