Devi & Company Limited T/A Island View Fish and Chips Takeaway seeks a Store Manager to independently oversee daily operations, manage 4 staff, control stock and finances, and ensure efficient and compliant business performance. The role is essential as the Directors are engaged in managing another business and are not involved in the takeaway's daily operations.

Position Title: Store Manager
Number of Positions: 1
Location: New Zealand
Pay Rate: $30 – $36 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

 

Key Requirements

  • At least 2 Year's of Experience OR Level 4 Qualification.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine stock levels, product range, and service standards.Implement purchasing procedures and coordinate ordering of stock and supplies.
  • Promote and advertise the business's products and services.
  • Provide customer service and assist customers with enquiries and purchases.
  • Maintain records of stock levels, sales, and financial transactions.
  • Undertake budgeting and monitor business performance.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and manage a team of 4 staff.
  • Prepare staff rosters and allocate daily duties.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, occupational health & safety, and company policies.
  • Independently oversee all day‑to‑day takeaway operations and report business performance to the Directors.
