Crown Tiles Ltd is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to develop, implement, and manage marketing campaigns that promote our Porcelain, Tiles, floors, and appliance products.This role requires coordinating advertising and promotional activities, analysing market and customer data, and working collaboratively with sales and design teams to support business growth across the Auckland and wider New Zealand markets.

Core Responsibilities

•      Plan and develop quarterly marketing campaigns for Porcelain, Tiles, floors, and appliance products, including selection of advertising channels, messaging, creative direction, and promotional timelines; coordinate with external agencies on artwork, copywriting, digital asset creation, and media placement within approved budgets and timeframes.

•      Analyse customer feedback, market research data, and competitive positioning to identify consumer preferences and market opportunities; assess demand for new product features and design trends; provide market intelligence reports to inform product development and sales strategies.

•      Advise General Manager and sales leadership on marketing strategy elements including brand positioning, product pricing perception, promotional tactics, and distribution channel priorities; evaluate effectiveness of different customer acquisition approaches.

•      Manage digital marketing presence including website content updates, social media strategy and posting schedules, email campaign execution, and online customer engagement; analyse digital analytics and conversion metrics to optimise customer journey and lead capture.

•      Coordinate with sales team to identify and pursue B2B marketing opportunities including architects, interior designers, property developers, and commercial builders; develop targeted promotions and information materials for professional buyers.

•      Prepare monthly and quarterly marketing performance reports tracking campaign spending, lead generation metrics, customer acquisition costs, conversion rates, and campaign ROI; communicate findings and recommendations to management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Formal Qualification or Relevant Experience: Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

•      Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; OR

•      Minimum 3 years of professional marketing experience in campaign management, digital marketing, market research, or related marketing functions (for candidates without formal qualification)

 

Additional Requirements:

•      Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels

•      Proficiency with digital marketing platforms, social media tools, email marketing systems, and basic marketing analytics

•      Strong communication and project management skills; ability to coordinate across multiple teams and meet deadlines

•      Knowledge of New Zealand consumer behaviour, market trends, and competitive landscape

•      Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software; experience with marketing automation tools is desirable

•      Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret marketing data and performance metrics

 

Key Performance Metrics

•      Monthly lead generation and customer inquiry targets met or exceeded, with documented customer acquisition cost tracking

•      Quarterly performance reports delivered on schedule with clear analysis of campaign ROI, spending variance, and recommendations

•      Website traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics show positive month-to-month trends

•      Successful development and launch of at least two new marketing initiatives or customer acquisition channels annually
