Power Wash Technician

Position Overview

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing commercial and industrial pressure washing and cleaning services using high-pressure cleaning equipment. The role involves cleaning buildings, exterior surfaces, vehicles, structures, and other commercial areas while maintaining high safety standards and delivering quality results for clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating pressure washing equipment, surface preparation, cleaning techniques, and the ability to work independently while maintaining professional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating high-pressure water cleaning equipment to clean buildings, exterior surfaces, vehicles, structures, and commercial areas.
• Using appropriate cleaning solutions, detergents, degreasers, and treatment products to remove dirt, mould, grease, stains, and other contaminants.
• Assessing different surfaces and selecting suitable cleaning methods to achieve effective results without causing damage.
• Preparing, operating, and maintaining pressure washing equipment including hoses, tanks, pumps, nozzles, and related tools.
• Performing routine equipment inspections and reporting faults, maintenance requirements, or safety concerns.
• Setting up safe work areas using barriers, signage, ladders, and other required safety controls.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures, environmental requirements, and waste disposal guidelines.
• Inspecting completed work to ensure cleaning standards are achieved and customer expectations are met.
• Maintaining job records, service reports, and required documentation.
• Communicating professionally with clients and representing the company in a positive manner.
• Completing assigned cleaning tasks efficiently within required timeframes.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment and ensuring equipment is stored safely after use.

Skills and Experience Required:

The successful applicant should have:

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in commercial cleaning/industrial cleaning/ pressure washing/ or a related field; or relevant qualification.
• Experience operating high-pressure cleaning systems and related equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, surface preparation methods, and safe cleaning practices.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional work attitude.
