Key responsibilities:

  • Set organizational-wide policies, service benchmarks, and strategic performance objectives.
  • Approve funding and resource allocation for major policy-driven programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide the day-to-day management, leadership, and operational direction across all branches, ensuring the achievement of setting targets.
  • Direct, endorse, and implement corporate policies that maximise profit and cost-efficiency.
  • Monitor evolving travel industry conditions and respond proactively by issuing directives to branch managers and adjusting operational strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with branch managers and senior subordinates on key operational matters, including workflow methods, financial planning, sales performance, technology needs, and human resources.
  • Represent the company at official events, industry negotiations, conventions, seminars, and forums; act as a key liaison between different areas of responsibility.
  • Prepare, or oversee the preparation of, branch performance reports, budgets, and financial forecasts, and present these findings to executive leadership.
  • Select, mentor, and manage the performance of branch managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Where required, take direct responsibility for accounting, sales, marketing, human resources, and other critical operational areas.

Hours of Work: fixed 35 hours per week

 Minimum Skills or Experience requirements for candidates:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the same industry or field, Or
  • A bachelor degree in any discipline
