About the Role
As part of the Engineering Services team, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing automated machinery to ensure operational reliability and minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Troubleshooting automated equipment
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Managing spare parts and maintenance records
  • Working collaboratively with operational teams to maximise equipment performance
Hours
The position operates on a 4-week rotating roster, including a mix of:
  • Morning shifts
  • Evening shifts
  • One weekend day
  • Participation in an on-call roster
About You
Experience with automated equipment, production lines, conveyors, or industrial maintenance systems will be highly regarded.

You'll ideally bring:
  • A mechanical or electrical trade qualification, or equivalent industry experience
  • EST or EWRB registration/licensing (strongly preferred)
  • 5 years' experience in an industrial maintenance environment, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, production, automation, or high-speed processing operations
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience working with live operational machinery and automated equipment
  • Good computer literacy, including exposure to programming, automation, instrumentation, or maintenance management systems
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and reliability-centred maintenance principles
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
  • A collaborative, team-focused attitude with a strong commitment to safety
