K&B Thiara Limited is seeking a proactive and dependable Store Manager to join its team in Auckland. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, leading and supporting the team, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high operational and customer service standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the store to ensure efficient and smooth business performance.
  • Set, review, and manage the pricing of products and services in line with business objectives.
  • Plan and implement promotional and marketing initiatives to increase sales and achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures, including customer service standards, business plans, advertising activities, purchasing processes, and store presentation.
  • Identify opportunities to grow the business by attracting new customers, increasing foot traffic, and improving overall profitability.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and ensure products are available to meet customer demand.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and support employees to build a productive and high-performing team.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers and staff while resolving complaints and operational issues promptly and professionally.
  • Research, evaluate, and establish relationships with existing and new suppliers, negotiate pricing and supply arrangements, and identify new products to expand the store's product range and meet customer demand.
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage the store's operating budget by controlling expenses, monitoring financial performance.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and maximise profitability.
  • Establish and maintain high service standards to ensure the business consistently meets customer expectations
  • Maintain accurate business and financial records by reviewing invoices, reconciling daily sales and expenses, preparing sales and cash reports, overseeing cash management procedures, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and you will be paid between $30 to $35 per hour. 

Requirements for the role:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience or a relevant Level 6 qualification. 
  • Available to work on weekends.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisational and coordination skills.
  • Effective leadership and people management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
