Massage Therapist

VCare Clinic Limited is looking for 5 Massage Therapists in the therapying massage field to perform routine tasks tothe quality standards.

Working location: Lower Hutt and Wellington
Type: Full-time
Working hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Payment: $27 to $32 per hour

What you'll need to be a successful applicant:

• 2 years relevant experience or a level 4 or above relevant qualification.

• Must be able to work on weekendsand be flexible for the shifts.

• Be reliable, responsible, punctual, and full commitment is required.

• Physically fit the job and can performgood massage techniques on clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Massaging the soft tissues of the body,such as muscles, tendons and ligaments,to assist healing.
• Utilizing a range of massage techniques to enhance sports performance and prevent injury.
• Administering treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation and relieve muscle tension.
• Assessing and treating specific softtissue dysfunction and providing rehabilitation advice.
• Applying other techniques, such as acupressure or shiatsu, and complementary aids, such as wet compresses, ice, essential oils and herbal therapies, to assist recovery.
• Assessing client's physical condition and case history and advising on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.
• Making sure the working area is clean,and equipment is sterilized to meet hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
• Keeping track of stock level.
