Khan Corporation Limited operates a specialist retail store in Rotorua selling vaping devices, e-liquids and related accessories. We are looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation and overall performance of the store, with the support of head office.

Day-to-day tasks and responsibilities

•      Determine the store’s product mix, stock levels and service standards to meet customer needs.

•      Formulate and implement purchasing and marketing policies, and set prices for vaping devices, e-liquids and accessories.

•      Promote and advertise the store’s goods and services, tailored to the local market.

•      Sell goods and services to customers and provide expert advice on product use, ensuring a high-quality shopping experience.

•      Maintain accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions.

•      Undertake budgeting for the store and monitor performance to ensure profitability.

•      Control the selection, training and supervision of staff, and uphold store standards.

•      Ensure the store complies with occupational health and safety regulations and with all laws and industry guidelines applying to the sale of vaping and regulated products, including R18 age-verification requirements.

•      Operate the store independently, reporting to and supported by head office.

Minimum requirements

•      2 years of relevant work experience  OR a relevant qualification 

•      Must be aged 18 years or older (legal requirement for working in a specialist vape retailer).

 

•      Available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, in person, in Rotorua.
