We have over 40 years in the business, a reputation second to none and have a great team for you to work with. A rare opportunity has arisen to join the team based at our Sylvia Park Branch.
The key focus of this busy role is to:
- Promptly and professionally respond to and process customer enquiries, parts and whole goods orders on the same day, across walk-ins, phone, and email channels.
- Provide accurate, knowledgeable and attentive assistance to customers.
- Manage the day-to-day administration of the workshop, including helping diagnose equipment faults, sourcing parts, preparing repair quotes, and coordinating repairs from start to finish. Receive and book in equipment for repair, keep track of repair progress, and communicate with customers about fault diagnosis, repair timelines, quotations, and any issues that may arise during the repair process.
- Ensure all goods leaving the branch are accompanied by appropriate documentation (picking slip, invoice, or stock transfer docket).
- Actively promote our aftersales service powered by YR Connect.
- Ensure all customer interactions are handled in a friendly, professional and solution-focused manner.
- Respond promptly to complaints and communicate proactively with customers on any delays or issues.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with customers.
- Maintain professional standards of communication and presentation at all times.
- Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and assist in stock control to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and meet required deadlines.
- Provide customers with quality hand over training on equipment sold.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales and follow-ups using the HubSpot CRM system.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience in parts ordering direct from suppliers both locally and internationally.
- Possess strong customer service skills and the ability to multi task and handle a busy role where no two days are the same.
- Sound administration and computer skills
- Have previous parts experience
- Have previous workshop administration experience
- Hold a current counter balance & walkie stacker forklift licence
- Hold a current full class 1 New Zealand drivers licence
