Due to continued business growth, we are seeking to recruit one full-time Roofer to join our professional team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret building plans, specifications, and site requirements to determine roofing materials and installation methods.
- Set up and work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work platforms.
- Install roofing underlay, waterproof membranes, and protective barriers to ensure weatherproof roofing systems.
- Lay, align, and secure roof tiles in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Measure, cut, and shape roofing materials to fit around roof penetrations, chimneys, vents, valleys, ridges, and other roof features.
- Install and secure ridge, hip, and edge tiles using appropriate fixing methods and mortar where required.
- Fit flashing systems and waterproofing components to prevent water ingress and ensure long-term roof performance.
- Seal and finish roofing installations, including waterproofing exposed fixings and joints.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality workmanship, structural integrity, and compliance with relevant building standards.
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements.
- Work across residential and commercial construction sites throughout the Auckland region.
Skills and Experience:
- At least three years of relevant work experience in roof tiling or relevant field.
- A relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification may substitute for the required work experience.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of roofing materials, waterproofing systems, and flashing installation.
- Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
