Smart Electricals Limited is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our growing team in Auckland.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical, architectural, and mechanical drawings to determine job requirements.

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, switchboards, and control systems.

• Connect and test electrical machines, appliances, and equipment.

• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to ensure safe and reliable operation.

• Conduct testing and safety checks to comply with New Zealand electrical regulations.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards.

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum three years of relevant work experience.

• Current registration with the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) 

• Legally eligible to work in NZ as electrician

• Sound knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and industry best practices.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• A current and valid New Zealand driver’s licence.

Pay and Conditions

• Pay rate: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience).

• Hours of work: Minimum of 30 hours per week, full-time.

• Roster: Monday to Saturday, with rostered shifts and some weekend work as required.
