We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our tailoring store in Auckland. This role guarantees a minimum of 30 hours per week with a competitive wage of $30.00 - $40.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the tailoring store to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
    • Supervise, train, and support tailors and other store staff to maintain high standards of workmanship and productivity.
    • Meet with customers to discuss tailoring requirements, resolve enquiries and complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Coordinate garment fittings, alteration schedules, and order completion to ensure work is delivered on time.
    • Monitor work quality and ensure all garments meet the store's quality standards before collection or delivery.
    • Manage stock levels of fabrics, threads, buttons, zippers, linings, and other tailoring materials, and arrange replenishment when required.
    • Prepare staff rosters, allocate work, and monitor employee performance to ensure efficient store operations.
    • Maintain sales records, process transactions, and prepare operational reports for business management.
    • Implement sales and customer service initiatives to promote business growth and maintain strong client relationships.
    • Ensure the store complies with workplace health and safety requirements and maintains a clean, organised, and professional working environment.
Requirements:
    • A Diploma at Level 5 in Business, Management, Fashion, or a related field, or at least three years of relevant work experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Experience in customer service, staff supervision, and store operations.
    • Good organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to maintain high customer service standards while achieving business and operational objectives.
