Site Supervisor Wanted

Work Location: Auckland Region

Employment type: Full time (minimum 30 hours/per week, roster from Monday to Friday), Permanent role

Your pay: $30.00- $31.00 per hour depending on your experience and skills

We are a well-established construction company located in Auckland. With the development of our business, we would like to hire a Construction Site Supervisor to assist with our projects. We are looking for highly skilled and competent candidate. In this role, you will work on different sites across Auckland Region.

  • Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years relev ant work experience in the same field or industry, OR
  • Have a relevant level 4 qualification or above (equivalent overseas qualification can be accepted)

You are required to:

  • Assist in planning and organization construction site activities from end to end
  • Managing all site activities and workers to ensure project deadlines are met
  • Interpreting plans, regulations and codes of practice to workers on sites to adhere to H&S regulations and policies
  • Overseeing all elements of construction work on site to deliver projects on time with excellent quality standards and within project budget
  • Making plans to schedule timeframe, tradesmen workforce and building material required for each project
  • Working closely with the team and clients to ensure the projects are completed within the negotiated timeframe and specifications
  • Quality checking and record keeping with effective communication between different parties for project progress
  • Liaising with sub-contractors, civil engineers, designers, council inspectors or other relevant workers to identify and solve the problems when necessary
  • Monitoring and overseeing site health & safety and project quality to meet the required standard and handle any issues that arise
  • Coordinate communication between clients and employees throughout projects to ensure client requirements are achieved and expectations are met.
