All Trades Contract Services are looking for a skilled Finisher to join our team to work with our client based in Wellington

About the role:

  • Starting wage of $30.00 per hour
  • Permanent contract.
  • Minimum guranteed 30 hours per week. 
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities: 

  • Finish and complete components of Bench Tops, Vanity Tops, Fire Places and other products. 
  • Manual polishing and finishing of stone edges.
  • Finishing engineered stone, granite, marble, Dekton and Neolith products.
  • Fabricating mitred edges.
  • Completing undermount, overmount and flush mount sink cut-outs.
  • Producing drainer grooves and fluted sink finishes.
  • Preparing and polishing joint faces.
  • Under-polishing return edges.
  • Operating CNC saws and stone fabrication equipment.
  • Trimming and shaping finished products.
  • Applying sealers to natural stone surfaces.
  • Inspecting products for defects before and after finishing.
  • Ensuring all work complies with quality standards.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Following all health and safety procedures, including silica dust management.
