As our business continues to grow, we are seeking 2 experienced Plumbers to join our professional team.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

l  Study and interpret blueprints, construction drawings and specifications to determine plumbing layouts and installation requirements.

l  Set out, install and commission hot and cold water supply systems and associated plumbing equipment for new residential homes.

l  Install sanitary plumbing systems, including toilets, basins, showers, baths, kitchen sinks and other plumbing fixtures.

l  Install internal water supply, waste and drainage pipework within timber framing during the construction phase.

l  Carry out underground external plumbing works, including pre-laying water supply and drainage pipework prior to concrete placement.

l  Install and connect rainwater tanks, stormwater and wastewater systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications.

l  Measure, cut, assemble, join and install PVC, PEX, copper and other plumbing pipework and fittings.

l  Test completed plumbing systems, identify faults and carry out repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting as required.

l  Ensure all plumbing work complies with the New Zealand Building Code, relevant standards and workplace health and safety requirements.

l  Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite and work collaboratively with other trades to complete projects on schedule.

 

About You:

l  Minimum 2 years of work experience in the construction industry Or

l  A relevant NZQCF Level 4 qualification or above. No specific major is required if you have a bachelor's qualification or above.

l  Plumber Registration is required

l  Physicaly fit and capable of taking heavy duties
