Seasonal Seafood Process Workers

Peak Season – April to October - extended to November

Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Hours: 30–40 per week

Location:  Kawakawa, Northland

We’re looking for reliable Seasonal Seafood Process Workers to join our team for the busy production period from April to October (can be extended November)

What you’ll do:

 Process, pack oysters fresh and frozen for local and export market ensure every product meets quality standard

· Cull, grade, open, wash, bath oysters in brine and freeze

· Load and unload trucks for delivery of inward goods and outward goods

· General factory duties including tidying, sweeping, cleaning equipment as required

 Hold and supply tools to qualified staff

 Ensure all duties are conducted in line with current H & S standards

 Serve and assist customers in retails and takeaway shop, process sales, handle money, manage inventory and maintain store appearance

  The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.

What we need:

        Physically fit and able to work in cold, wet conditions

        Reliable, punctual, and ready to work full‑time

        Must have at least 1 season of relevant experience in the past 3 years
