Job Summary

Raytech is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, implement and maintain AI-enabled software applications and business systems. Working collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders, the successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing and continuous improvement of software solutions that integrate modern technologies, automation and artificial intelligence to support business operations and client services.

Key Responsibilities

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business processes and translate operational requirements into practical software solutions.
· Design, develop and maintain software applications using appropriate programming languages, frameworks and modern development tools.
· Develop AI-assisted features and intelligent workflow solutions by integrating APIs, automation technologies and large language model (LLM) services where appropriate.
· Improve existing software systems by identifying opportunities to enhance functionality, performance, scalability and user experience.
· Perform software testing, debugging and issue resolution to ensure applications operate reliably and meet technical and business requirements.
· Participate in system integration activities to ensure seamless communication between software applications, databases and third-party platforms.
· Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, user guides and operational procedures throughout the software development lifecycle.
· Evaluate emerging software technologies and AI tools, providing recommendations for system enhancements, software upgrades and future development initiatives.
· Support software deployment, maintenance and ongoing optimisation while ensuring solutions comply with company development standards and quality requirements.

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

· Bachelor's degree or above in Computer, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a closely related discipline. OR
· Demonstrated hands-on experience in software development through commercial employment, postgraduate projects, or equivalent practical software engineering experience.
· Experience developing applications using modern programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or similar technologies.
· Experience with backend development, API integration, relational databases and software testing principles.
· Knowledge of AI-assisted software development, intelligent automation, RESTful APIs or large language model (LLM) integration would be advantageous.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
