The Business Development Specialist leads all external growth initiatives for our store electronics retail & repair business. You will identify new B2B wholesale partners, corporate client opportunities, cross-industry cooperation channels, and local community business collaborations to expand sales volume, boost brand influence across Auckland, and support our store expansion plan.

We supply new & second-hand phones, laptops and tech accessories alongside professional device repair services. Key Job Responsibilities
l Conduct market research on Auckland electronics, IT service and corporate procurement markets; analyse competitor business models and identify untapped commercial opportunities.
l Source, contact and develop new B2B clients including corporate companies, student accommodation providers, small business IT contractors, education institutions and wholesale resellers of phones, laptops and digital accessories.
l Develop custom cooperation proposals, conduct client meetings, deliver product & repair service presentations, negotiate pricing, trade-in and bulk service contracts, and complete full-cycle sales conversion.
l Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing corporate and wholesale partners; conduct regular follow-ups, resolve cooperation issues, and explore repeat & expanded business orders.
l Collect client market feedback on product demand, pricing and repair service needs; submit regular business growth reports to management with actionable improvement suggestions.
l Track monthly sales and new partner KPIs, maintain structured client pipeline records, and forecast quarterly business performance.
l Coordinate with in-store sales, repair technicians and inventory teams to fulfil bulk orders, corporate device maintenance contracts and wholesale supply arrangements.
l Attend local business networking events, industry expos and community activities to promote the Just Tech brand.
Candidate Requirements
l At least a Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business management, economics or other relevant field OR
l At least 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
l Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
l Results-driven with a strong commercial mindset
l Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
l Strong analytical and market research capabilities
l Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
