Painter

We are currently seeking reliable and full-time painters to join our team. The starting pay offered is $28-$35 hourly and will be fixed according to the skills and experience for at least 30 hours a week. However, this will be reviewed periodically. Any overtime will be paid as per the above pay rate. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of related tasks, including:

l  Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, patching, and priming.

l  Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.

l  Select appropriate paint and materials based on surface types, project requirements, and environmental factors.

l  Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.

l  Maintain clean and organized work areas, including proper storage and disposal of painting materials.

l  Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate painting schedules and prioritize tasks.

l  Address any touch-up or repair work as needed to achieve a flawless finish.

l  Adhere to project specifications, blueprints, and quality standards to meet client expectations.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

1.        At least two years of proven experience in painting, plastering, construction work, or similar fields. Alternatively, a construction-related qualification.

2.        Must be available to work early mornings and weekends (based on work arrangement).

3.        Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

4.        Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.

5.        Pre-employed drug test and police check is required.
