We are looking for talented nail technicians to join our team in Northland.
Position Details:
- Role Type: Full-time, permanent
- Position: Nail Technician
- Location of the job: Northland
- The minimum guaranteed hours of work per week: 30 hours
- The maximum hours of work per week: 45 hours
- The minimum and maximum rate of pay or salary: $24-$28 per hour (depending on
skills and experience)
Job Description:
- Analysing nail characteristics and advising on suitable body treatments to clients
- Discussing client needs and performing manicures (buff, shape, and polish clients'
nails) and spa pedicure (treat clients' feet and toenails)
- Applying acrylic nails, gel nail, silk nail, fiber glass nail, UV gel, nail extension, nail
repair, and other specialized hand and foot treatments
- Dipping powder on clients’ real nails and dipping powder with tip (extension)
- Decorating and designing on clients’ nails (nail art)
- Referring clients to health professionals regarding nails diseases and problems
- Massaging clients' hands and feet
- Providing advice on beauty care and relevant treatments and product selling
- Communicating to reach clients’ needs, ensure clients’ satisfactions
The minimum qualification and work experience requirements:
· At least two years of relevant work experience OR
· Level 4 or higher qualification in nail technology or beauty therepy or related fields.
Other requirements:
· Hardworking, reliable, and punctual.
· Positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
· Good health and no skin allergies.
· Excellent hygiene and neat personal appearance.
· Friendly personality with a customer-focused approach.
· Flexible availability, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
